Mimosas and Project Goodness

I have a great friend, Caroline, and we have a ton in common. There's something to be said about a great friendship with an awesome friend who really "gets you." We share the same passions in life: family, music-real music with actual talent (not that crap on the pop radio stations these days-that is not goodness, that is crap), good food, dogs and DIY projects. So, this past Saturday was such a nice little day spent with Caroline. We sent the hubbies out for golf and we had arts and crafts time with our doggies on the back patio.

My Bud!

In lieu of Easter quickly approaching, we worked on Easter projects along with some other DIY projects for the home. Saturday included: champagne, 70 degrees,  a hot glue gun, a patio, iTunes, girl talk, and our golden doggies, Birdie and Oatmeal - the perfect recipe for a a Saturday well spent!

Here are the some of our projects we took on together:

It Turned Out Quite Cute, Definately an Inviting Little Touch For the Easter Bunny to Stop By Our House

My Easter Egg Tree

Not for Easter, but These are Yankee Candles that I Covered with Fabric and Buttons

 Oatmeal, the Twine Bandit
